Golden Bear training shipAlumni and guests are invited to board the Cal Maritime Academy Golden Bear training ship while it is in port in Seattle. Attendees will tour the ship and its operating labs, and enjoy appetizers with a hosted bar. Participants can also meet College of Arts & Letters Dean, Edward Inch. Students build a future for disabled alumna

Sara GrandaSac State’s Department of Construction Management came to the aid of alumna Sara Granda ’04, MSW ’06 (Social Work), paralyzed from the neck down and a first-time home owner. Two dozen CM students and faculty members took on retrofitting her house as a community service project. Read more

Sacramento State logoThe California State University system hopes to provide opportunities to an additional 15,000 students in the coming school year and is seeking another $54 million to support this enrollment growth in the state budget. President Alexander Gonzalez emphasized the importance of educated graduates for the workforce during a recent trip to the State Capitol with Sac State alumni Tim Murphy '91 (Government) of Aerojet and Keri Thomas, MPPA '06 of Sutter Health.
