Campus programs benefit from private support

Sacramento State raised nearly $900,000 in gifts and pledges in the fourth quarter of the fiscal year (April 1 to June 30, 2012). Gifts supported a number of areas including the Guardian Scholars program, the Sac State Aquatic Center, scholarship programs in the colleges of Arts and Letters, Business Administration and Education, and alumni programming.

Greg Hagwood The boy next door is now the sheriff next door. Greg J. Hagwood ’89 (Criminal Justice) has established a reputation as a fixture in Plumas County. He’s been part of the community in Quincy since he first moved to the county with his family at age 10. “I can walk down the street and I see people that I’ve known my entire life,” he says.
