Host A Student Dinner - Make a Difference

Create a personal connection with students by hosting a Dinner with 12 Hornets. These small, informal dinners provide students the opportunity to meet and network with alumni in various fields. The Alumni Association is scheduling dinners throughout the school year and is looking for alumni hosts.

Sac State Serves -Volunteer Opportunity

On Saturday, September 17, from 9 a.m. - noon, Sac State Serves is looking for volunteers to take part in the Great American River Cleanup sponsored by the American River Parkway Foundation. Volunteers of all ages are needed to remove trash and debris to help prevent pollutants from entering the watershed, harming wildlife - or creating hazards for recreational users.

The Sacramento State football team returns 17 starters, including its leading rusher, passer and receiver from a year ago as well as a Buck Buchanan Award candidate on defense. That returning talent earned the team a fourth-place prediction in both the coaches and media Big Sky preseason poll.

Angela Rich is an Army veteran whose passion is making people aware of the experiences of GIs and their families. As such, the Sacramento State graduate is getting involved with the VETS/ROTC Alumni Chapter. The fledgling chapter of the Alumni Association was created to help military veterans and alumni navigate their way through Sac State, to provide career networking and to track their progress.
