From awards banquets to arts shows to theatre performances, Alumni Month is full of events that spill into May. We're celebrating alumni and creating opportunities for you to come back to campus.

Alumni Open House

Visit the Alumni Center on Friday, April 29, 5:30 p.m. for the 3rd Annual Open House. This spectacular and FREE event will feature an impressive display of delicious fare from more than a dozen caterers.

Stinger Wine & Food

Alumni-owned wineries and restaurants will be the featured attraction at this annual fundraiser on Friday, May 6 at 6:00 p.m. Coordinated by the Stinger Athletic Association, proceeds from this event support athletic scholarships for men's and women's sports.

Sac State Serves Volunteer Opportunity

On Saturday, May 21 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., Sac State Serves will be supporting Homeless Connect in providing a one-stop resource center for an expected 800 homeless folks. The entire Sac State community is invited to participate.

Festival of the Arts: April 13 - 16

The days are getting warmer and Sacramento State is heating things up with the Festival of the Arts, the University’s annual celebration of fine art and design, music, literature, theater and dance.

On April 28th at 6 p.m. the 3rd annual running of the Sac State 5K Fun Run will commence! This race will be for students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends to stride it out on Sacramento State's beautiful campus.

The deadline is quickly approaching to enroll children in Sacramento State’s summer Academic Talent Search program. Parents have until 4 p.m., Wednesday, April 20, to submit their applications.

Environmental Studies Given OK to Issue Degrees

Sacramento State’s Department of Environmental Studies has received the go-ahead to award Bachelor of Science degrees. "In the larger scheme, this represents the coming of age of the discipline,” Department Chair Dudley Burton says. “We’ve been working in this direction for a long time."

Baseball Kicks off WAC Play at Hawaii

The Sacramento State baseball team, fresh off a series win at Seattle last weekend, will kick off Western Athletic Conference play at Hawaii this weekend with a four-game set at Les Murakami Stadium.
