Eat Around Town with Us

The Alumni Association’s 2nd annual Hornets Dining on the Move is April 15, 2010, 5–8 p.m. Attendees will enjoy dining in midtown Sacramento at Zocalos, Crepeville, 58 Degrees and Holding, L Wine Lounge & Urban Kitchen and Java City all in one evening.

Sac State 5k Run

Health, community, Hornet pride and a new tradition are the goals of this 2nd annual fun run on campus. Nearly 1,000 students, alumni, faculty and staff participated last year. Jog (or walk) your way to a Hornet good time.

Moon, animals populate Sac State play

A howling, dancing moon and talking animals help a woman learn more about her life and marriage in References to Salvador Dali Make Me Hot, playing at Sacramento State’s Playwrights’ Theatre. Performances are 8 p.m., April 22-24 and April 30-May 1; 2 p.m. April 25 and May 2; and 6:30 p.m. April 28-29.

Sac State EMBA program expands to Bay Area

Sacramento State’s MBA for Executives program will offer business administration courses at the San Ramon Valley Conference Center in San Ramon, Calif., starting in the fall. San Ramon is located about 35 miles from San Francisco and about 80 miles from Sacramento.

Sac State scholar receives fourth Fulbright award

Jack Godwin, director of Global Education and the chief international officer at Sacramento State, received a Fulbright Scholarship to Swansea University, Wales. His previous Fulbright Awards were to Germany, Hungary and Japan.
