Katrina Sawa

Katrina Sawa earned her B.S. in Business, Marketing in 1993. She is known as The JumpStart Your Biz Coach because she motivates and directs her clients into high gear. She works primarily with women entrepreneurs who want to maximize and fast-track their business to be more efficient, rewarding and successful. 

Katrina founded her business in 2002, and hit the pavement with a grassroots marketing plan. She could always be found mingling at mixers and business networking events where her target market would be in attendance. Consistent networking and follow up is the primary reason Katrina has reached success in her business. 

Since 2006 however, Katrina has transformed her local, hourly-fee based business into an international online marketing coaching and information-product company.  This expansion actually leveraged her own time in a way that freed her up to design the business that better fits her lifestyle, family, traveling, and volunteering.

Katrina has dedicated a portion of her volunteer time in support of higher education through the Student Alumni Association. Most recently, she presented to a group of students at the “Holiday Mocktail” party, an event which brought Sac State alumni and students together giving students the opportunity to practice networking.

Katrina kicked off the “Mocktail” with a brief coaching, instructing the students how to work a room, and make the best out of networking opportunities, a skill that is becoming increasingly important for new grads in this highly competitive work environment.
