Savings for Alumni, Faculty and Staff – Alumni Month 2009

Who doesn’t need to save money in these trying economic times? The answer to that question is why the Sacramento State Alumni Association worked countless hours contacting local and regional merchants to offer alumni special savings during Alumni Month. It was an easy sell considering one in 26 Sacramento residents is a Sacramento State alumnus; and why alumni will enjoy savings at restaurants, bike shops, dry cleaners and many more from April 1 to April 30 2009.

Alumni in Action: Chi Sigma Rho/Tau Kappa Epsilon

In the fall of 1957 a group of 16 men were meeting regularly at the on-campus snack-bar. They were either friends from high school or played sports together. After 8 weeks they voted to become a club and to apply for recognition as a campus fraternity.
