Student Alumni Association

Why get involved with SAA?

Students today. Alumni Forever.

The Student Alumni Association (SAA) is for current Sac State Students! So, why join?

1. SAA connects students with each other, campus, and alumni!
We bridge the gap between students and alumni to help current Hornets find mentors, make meaningful connections, and network in preparation for life after college.

2. SAA provides networking and professional training opportunities.
Whether you're a freshman looking for ways to get involved on campus or a senior looking for networking opportunities, SAA can help you!

3. SAA promotes opportunities to gain volunteer and leadership experience.
Some of your most important learning will occur outside the classroom, and we encourage you to always challenge yourself to grow as a member of the Sacramento State community. Help organize and execute SAA events and programming, or even apply to join the leadership team during SAA elections.

4. SAA celebrates the University legacy by promoting tradition.
SAA helps students build a lifelong connection with their alma mater. Campus involvement is one of the best ways to become a part of Sacramento State. SAA can help you build deep connections that will make this university feel like home.
